Beautiful Night Sea in Busan, Feast of Dances My dear fellow citizens, artists and distinguished guests from home and abroad, I wholeheartedly welcome all of you to the 11th Busan International Dance Festival. It is a profound pleasure for me to be with you for the opening of this meaningful event. I extend a warm welcome to every one of you. Since it was launched under the name of ‘Busan International Beach Dance Festival’ in 2005, and highlighting regional characteristics, the BIDF has been served as a bridge between the ‘public’ and the ‘dance’. Also, an unique combination of dance and sea has been attracting great attention from the world. With the theme, ‘World of Motion & Dance in Busan’, this year’s performances will be excellent than that have ever been.
