| Company | Founded in 1999, Arzid Modern Dance Company is recognized as a creative, popular performing arts company. In 2002, the company was awarded the best performance prize and the best choreography prize at Seoul Dance Competition hosted by Arts Council Korea. Since then, it performs its creative works every year. Having passed 10 years since the foundation, the company started to focus on creation of multidisciplinary arts by combining video technologies such as a movie and motion graphic with dance. The well- known works of such are Madame Freedom, Interview with Isang Yun, The Last Supper, Interview. |

| Work | This production was created with a fundamental goal to reflect on the existential being. All beings are destined to be inextricably connected to this metaphysical and physical world. Having a fate of being unable to exist without connection to the world, all beings are in contradiction that hinders efforts in a subtle way to cognize the essence of their existence. Thus, the production is a difficult quest for finding true self by separating all these inevitable connections. It is not until one is separated from the world that the one finds true existence as itself and is cognizant of essential values and meanings of itself. This performance starts reflection of oneself as follows. 1. Recognize the ‘existence’ in terms of length, weight, volume and temperature etc. 2. Disintegrate the human-body in terms of acute angle, right angle and abtuse angle 3. Try to access something left over 4. Finally, disintegrate the ‘breath’, the fundamental element of ‘existence’ |
