Since 1999 Leandro &Laila have been featured couples in some of the world’s most highlyregarded tango shows: Miguel Zotto's “TANGO X 2,” “NISSAN TANGO BUENOS AIRES,” Juan Carlos Copes’ "COPES TANGO COPES", Mora Godoy’s “TANGUERA“ and "TANGOEMOCION,” “MISA CRIOLLA” . . . and more. Laila and Leandro have also participated in TV shows (RAI, BBC, NHK, FUJI TV, TELEFE,CHANNEL 13) and interviewed in different radio programs as well. They are judges of the Official Tango Championships in Argentina and also in different venues(USA, Asia and Europe). They are the creators and artistic directors of “TANGO CON LAS ESTRELLAS FESTIVAL” andthey are annually invited to teach and perform in the most prestigious Tango Festivals bothnationally and internationally. |

| Work | The Argentine tango shows two important features of tango. One is that tango is a social dance that people of all walks of life, men and women, young and old, can learn and enjoy. The other is that tango is one of the most vibrant artistic dances choreographed and performed by professional dancers for stage. Argentine tango dancer and choreographer Leandro Oliver and LailaRezk will present us the quintessence of stage tango through their performance. Most of all, they will show how the moves learned by people at the tango workshops are transformed into an elegant and vibrant dance for stage. |
